mitzvah day: A Day of Community Service - sunday, april 29th 
Location: onsite at Temple, and offsite at many locations

Join Us for Temple Emanu-El of East Meadow’s 4th Annual Mitzvah Day.... It’s almost Here!
We are hoping that you can all join us this year. Make “Mitzvot, it’s what we do” come alive again on April 29, 2018. There are so many activities and so many ways that you can help! All ages welcome!

Community Second Night Passover Seder - Saturday, March 31st 
Cost: Adult $36 / Children (ages 5-13) $25  / Children (under 5) Free
Join your Temple family on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 as we celebrate the second Seder.
Dinner will be catered by Nassau Kosher Meats. The Seder will be participatory and led by a lay leader. There will be English and Hebrew, reading and singing.

the New Social Action/Social Justice Committee - This Spring 
 Are you looking for a way to make a difference and to participate in Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World)?          
We are excited to announce the formation of the Social Action/Social Justice Committee of the New TBT.
Here you will find opportunities to help those in our community who are in need, and to learn about and advocate for social justice issues that are important to Reform Judaism.

Lois Morton is a performing songwriter who has delighted audiences with her abundant wit, charm and humorous songs of social commentary.  Please join us for a wonderful, uplifting evening with Lois as she performs her original, often hilarious songs which encourage us to laugh at ourselves. She will also perform  Jewish songs from the heart.
