Rabbi Emeritus Albert J. Lowenberg has served the pulpit of Temple Emanu-El since 1990, and has now been awarded the status of Rabbi Emeritus for his long and devoted service to our Temple Family.  He  holds his B.S., M.A., Ordination and Counseling certifications from New York area schools and Universities.  He is active in all local and national clergy organizations.

Cantor Ellen D. Weinberg joined our congregation in July, 1993, following her graduation from the Cantor's Institute of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America.  She holds a Master of Sacred Music from that institution, and is also a member of the Cantor's Assembly.

Rabbi Daniel Bar-Nahum joined Temple Emanu-El in 2012 as Associate Rabbi/Education Director and continues to oversee the Religious School while assuming the pulpit as of 2013. He was Ordained in 2012 by the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, completing a Rabbinic Thesis on Talmudic notions of action, intention and voice.  Rabbi Bar-Nahum earned a Masters of Arts in Hebrew Literature from HUC-JIR in 2011, and also holds a Master's in Jewish Education, earned in part by researching Jewish identity formation in teenagers.  He is a member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the Long Island Board of Rabbis.  Rabbi Bar-Nahum has a passion for Jewish Education and a belief that Judaism can inform our modern lives.  "The sages teach us that the wise person is the one who learns from all others.  I carry this axiom with me every day and it guides me in my work helping to facilitate both interpersonal relationships  and relationships between people and the Divine."
